This issue brings psychoanalysis into dialogue with psychiatry, borderline, colonialism, paranoia and surveillance, medicine, community health, and desire. Within this issue, there are commentaries on the conditions of contemporary discourse, specifically the dominance of science and technology, and it is outlined how psychoanalysis “treats” these conditions by working within them to effect a different outcome, one that has a meaningful subjective impact.
