Lacunae Journal

International Journal for Lacanian Psychoanalysis

Lacunae (est. 2010) is an English-language journal published by the Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland (APPI). The Lacunae eJournal launched in 2020. It publishes clinical and theoretical articles principally informed by Freudian-Lacanian psychoanalysis and welcomes submissions that reach out to a range of disciplines – philosophy, science, the arts, medicine, mathematics, politics, language and literature. The journal is peer-reviewed and offers feedback on all submissions, operating a blind peer review process to identify articles that are best suited for publication. Lacunae’s translation panel may provide translations of papers submitted in languages other than English. Two issues per year are published.
